What hour is the Commons open?

Are there ATM's in the Commons?
No. Washington Mutual, Bank of America, Service Plus Credit Union and Wells Fargo ATM's are located in temporary locations just outside the UCR Bookstore.
Can people play pool in the Commons now?
Yes, the Commons offers three tournament size pool tables. UCR Students can check out pool equipment with their UCR ID and play a game of pool between classes. Pool Tables are available for $4.00/hour.
Are there video games in the new Commons?
Yes, there is a great selection of video games available in the Student Commons. Video games can be played for $0.25 - $0.50/game. If you need change, you can either use the change machine located next to the video games or go to the Main Desk.
Can students play board games in the new Commons?
Yes, UCR Students can check out checkers, chess, and/or playing cards with their UCR ID.
Is there a Lost and Found for the Commons?
Yes, lost and found items are turned into the UCR Student Commons Main Desk from everywhere on campus daily. Items that are not claimed are turned into the Lost and Found at the UCR Police Department.
Is there wireless Internet access for my computer?
The new Commons building is built for wireless access.
Can I get student escorts from the new Commons to walk me at night?
Yes, the Commons' staff at the main desk will be happy to call the UCR escort service for you during normal escort service hours.
What hours will food be available?
Food will be available during normal lunch dining hours. Expanded hours and service information available soon.
Will there be food vending machines?
Not at this time. Check back.
Where is the main Information Desk for the Commons?
Located at 269 Commons (second floor), the UCR Commons Main Desk is the place to visit for the latest on events and programs taking place in the UCR Student Commons, and all over campus. The Main Desk staff is trained to help you find the answers you need. We have general campus information, campus maps, transportation schedules, and campus telephone directories. The Commons Main Desk also offers the following services: Refunds, Copy Machine Email Stations/Printing, Entertainment, Faxing , Information Tables and Lost & Found
Can I make copies in the new Commons?
A coin-operated copy machine is located in the game room. Cost is $0.10 per page or use your UCR ID and only pay $0.08 per page. See our staff for change or assistance in making copies.
Can I use computer from the Commons to send emails or print?
Yes,the Commons Main Desk has three computers with internet access that are available for use. Printing is also available for $0.10 a page (no color).
Can I send a fax from the new Commons?
Fax service is also available at the Student Commons Main Desk. To receive a fax, the fee is $1.00 per page. To send a fax, the fee is $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. International calls are $2.50 the first page and $1.00 each additional page. The Commons fax number is 951.827.5702.
